The goal of this project is to create marketing assets that the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority and dive industry stakeholders can use to promote the scuba diving offering of the islands. Processing of the data and development of the deliverables will occur during and after the data collection trips with the aim of wrapping up the project and submitting the deliverables by the end of 2026.
The project will involve two trips to St. Vincent and the Grenadines to collect both underwater and above water photographs and videos, including 360-degree footage.
- The first trip is being planned for St. Vincent & Bequia in late June.
- The second trip is being planned for the Southern Grenadines & Union Island for late August/early September.
- Development of a comprehensive dive map of SVG identifying key sites, depths, marine species, sensitive ecosystems and activities.
- Development of media assets above and below the surface, including aerial drone footage.
- Development of an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experience at key sites in SVG.
